It makes sense that Project Hope for the Homeless supporters should represent the interests of the shelter. You, as volunteers, are the true “owners” of the ministry, along with our partner agencies, churches, staff, in-kind and financial donors, and former shelter guests. Thanks for your ongoing efforts in helping to fulfill our mission! We invite your advocacy, voice, and representation – you are the Lord’s hands and feet.
The Ecumenical Shelter Network of Lake County, Inc. consists of those people who desire to help and serve homeless people in Lake County by providing emergency shelter, care, and guidance. Membership is available and open to all who are interested in promoting the goals of the Ecumenical Shelter Network of Lake County, participating in the activities of the Network, and requesting membership by submitting a membership registration form. Network members elect the officers and trustees, approve the sale, lease and/or rental of real property, approve the incurring of debt obligations, approve the budget, and share in the long-range planning of the Network. Any member who has attended at least one of the plenary meetings for the current fiscal year and participates in the activities of the Network is eligible to vote. There are no proxies.
